Role: Cloudflare acts as a data processor when processing Turnstile signals on behalf of Presidence Property for the purpose of protecting the website and distinguishing legitimate visitors from automated traffic. Cloudflare acts as an independent data controller where it processes Turnstile signals for the purpose of improving its bot-detection capabilities.

Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum
Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4
Provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Role: where the applicable Google data processing terms apply, Google processes Customer Personal Data as a data processor on behalf of Presidence Property for the provision of Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4. Any processing undertaken by Google outside that processor relationship is governed by Google’s own applicable terms and Privacy Policy.

Consent: the Google Analytics 4 tag is disabled by default and is activated only after the visitor has expressly consented to Analytics Cookies. Google Analytics is not used for advertising, remarketing or behavioural profiling on this website.

Google Privacy Policy
Google Data Processing Terms

Where a service provider acts as a data processor, it processes personal data on the documented instructions of Presidence Property and is required to apply appropriate technical and organisational security measures. Where a provider acts as an independent data controller in relation to particular processing activities, that processing is governed by the provider’s own privacy notice and applicable data protection obligations.

Presidence Property does not sell personal data and does not disclose enquiry information to third parties for unrelated advertising, behavioural profiling or marketing purposes.

Cookies & Technology

6. Cookies and Website Technologies

The Presidence Property website uses cookies, local storage and similar browser technologies for the secure and proper operation of the website, for storing visitors’ cookie preferences, for protecting the online enquiry form and, where consent has been provided, for measuring how the website is used.

A cookie consent management tool is used to record and apply visitors’ choices. The strictly necessary first-party cookie moove_gdpr_popup stores the selected cookie preferences for 365 days. This cookie is required to remember whether optional technologies have been accepted or rejected. Deleting it will cause the website to request the visitor’s preferences again.

Cloudflare Turnstile is used to protect the online enquiry form and to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated, fraudulent or potentially abusive activity. For this purpose, Cloudflare may process technical signals associated with the visitor, browser, device and verification attempt and may use cookies, local storage or similar browser technologies where required for the security and functionality of the verification process. These technologies are treated as strictly necessary. Preventing them from operating may make it impossible to submit the online enquiry form.

Google Tag Manager is used to manage the technical deployment of website tags and to communicate cookie-consent choices. In the current implementation, Google Tag Manager is not used as an independent analytics or advertising service. The Google Analytics 4 tag is technically prevented from activating unless the visitor expressly enables Analytics Cookies.

With the visitor’s consent, Google Analytics 4 is used to understand how visitors use the website and to evaluate and improve its performance. Depending on the visitor’s interaction with the website, Analytics may process information such as page URLs and titles, page views, scrolling and other interaction events, session information, browser and device characteristics, approximate geographical location and a pseudonymous client identifier. Presidence Property does not intentionally send the contents of enquiry forms, names, email addresses, telephone numbers or other information entered into form fields to Google Analytics.

Google Analytics does not log or store the individual IP addresses of users located in the European Union. IP-address information may be used temporarily to derive approximate geographical information before it is discarded.

If Analytics Cookies are accepted, Google Analytics may set first-party cookies including _ga, used to distinguish pseudonymous visitors, and a property-specific _ga_... cookie, currently _ga_L8W94DZMP0, used to maintain session-related information for the Presidence Property Analytics property. These Analytics cookies may remain for up to two years, although their actual lifetime may be shorter because of browser restrictions, user settings or manual deletion.

The legal basis for processing personal data through Google Analytics is the visitor’s consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation. Analytics is disabled by default. No Google Analytics tag or Analytics cookie is activated before the visitor has provided consent.

Visitors may accept all cookies, reject optional cookies or select their preferences through the cookie banner. A previous choice may be reviewed, changed or withdrawn at any time by using the floating cookie-settings button displayed on the website. Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before the withdrawal.

Presidence Property does not use Google Ads, Meta Pixel, advertising cookies, behavioural advertising, remarketing technologies or newsletter tracking on this website. The website does not currently operate a newsletter subscription service or an automated email-marketing list. Submitting an enquiry does not subscribe the visitor to marketing communications.

The website does not use cookies or similar technologies to create advertising profiles, monitor visitors across unrelated websites or make automated decisions about individuals for marketing purposes.

The Inter and Cormorant Garamond typefaces used by the website are hosted locally on the Presidence Property server. They are not loaded from Google Fonts or another external font service.

Visitors may also control or delete cookies through their browser settings. Blocking or deleting strictly necessary technologies may prevent the website from remembering cookie preferences or may stop security-related functions, including the online enquiry form, from operating correctly.

Further information about the processing carried out by Google and Cloudflare is available in their respective privacy notices.

Retention

7. Data Retention

Presidence Property retains personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected and to comply with applicable legal, contractual and regulatory requirements.

Personal data relating to a contact or property enquiry, including information submitted through the contact form and the related correspondence, is generally retained for 24 months following the closure of the enquiry or the last substantive communication, whichever is later.

Where an enquiry results in a contractual or ongoing business relationship, the relevant personal data may be retained for a longer period in accordance with applicable contractual, accounting, tax, record-keeping and other legal obligations.

The strictly necessary cookie used to store the visitor’s cookie-consent preferences remains on the visitor’s device for 365 days, unless it is deleted earlier through the browser or the visitor changes or resets their preferences.

Where a visitor has consented to Analytics Cookies, user-level and event-level data processed through Google Analytics 4 is retained for no longer than 14 months. The lifetime of Analytics cookies stored on the visitor’s device is described separately in Section 6 and is distinct from the retention period applied to data within Google Analytics.

Aggregated statistical information that is no longer used to identify or single out an individual may be retained for a longer period for reporting, comparison and website-performance analysis.

Personal data may also be retained for a longer period where this is reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, resolve a dispute, investigate misuse or comply with a request from a competent authority.

Technical and security-related records are retained only for the period reasonably necessary to protect the website, investigate potentially abusive or fraudulent activity and maintain the security and integrity of the relevant systems.

When personal data is no longer required for any of these purposes, it is deleted, securely disposed of or anonymised so that it can no longer be associated with an identifiable individual.

Security & Transfers

8. Data Security and International Transfers

Presidence Property applies appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure, access or other unlawful processing.

These measures include, where appropriate, access restrictions, secure account and password management, encrypted website connections, controlled administrative access, regular software maintenance and protection against spam, automated submissions and other forms of misuse.

Access to personal data is limited to persons and service providers who require it for legitimate business, technical, administrative or legal purposes and who are subject to appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations.

Although Presidence Property takes reasonable measures to protect personal data, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

The use of Cloudflare Turnstile may involve the processing of limited technical and security-related information by Cloudflare and its authorised service providers in countries located outside the European Economic Area, including the United States.

Google Tag Manager is used to manage the technical deployment of website tags. Where a visitor has consented to Analytics Cookies, Google Analytics 4 may also process analytics-related information through Google Ireland Limited, other entities within the Google group and their authorised service providers. This processing may involve the transfer of personal data to countries located outside the European Economic Area, including the United States.

Consent to Analytics Cookies provides the legal basis for the optional analytics processing described in this Privacy Policy. Where the related personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the international transfer is separately subject to an appropriate transfer mechanism recognised under applicable data protection law.

Depending on the recipient, destination country and circumstances of the transfer, these safeguards may include:

  • an adequacy decision adopted by the European Commission;
  • the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, where the United States recipient is validly certified under that framework;
  • Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission;
  • supplementary technical, contractual or organisational safeguards where appropriate; or
  • another legally recognised international transfer mechanism.

Where an applicable adequacy decision or Data Privacy Framework certification ceases to provide a valid basis for a transfer, the relevant service provider may rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or another lawful transfer mechanism, together with supplementary safeguards where required.

Further information about the international transfer mechanisms and safeguards applied by Google and Cloudflare is available in their respective data protection documentation.
