Cookies & Technology

6. Cookies and Website Technologies

The Presidence Property website may use cookies, local storage and similar technologies that are strictly necessary for the secure and proper operation of the website, its administrative functions and its online enquiry form.

Cloudflare Turnstile is used to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated or potentially abusive activity. For this purpose, Turnstile may process technical signals associated with the visitor, browser and device and may use cookies, local storage or similar browser technologies where required to maintain the security and functionality of the verification process.

Presidence Property does not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, advertising cookies, behavioural advertising, remarketing technologies or newsletter tracking on this website.

The website does not use cookies or similar technologies to create advertising profiles, monitor visitors across unrelated websites or make automated decisions about individuals for marketing purposes.

Strictly necessary technologies are limited to what is required to provide the website, protect its forms and systems, and deliver functionality requested by the visitor. If non-essential cookies or tracking technologies are introduced in the future, they will not be activated before the visitor has received appropriate information and, where required, provided consent.

You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings. Disabling technologies that are strictly necessary for website security or form verification may prevent certain functions, including the online enquiry form, from operating correctly.

Retention

7. Data Retention

Presidence Property retains personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected and to comply with applicable legal, contractual and regulatory requirements.

Personal data relating to a contact or property enquiry, including information submitted through the contact form and the related correspondence, is generally retained for 12 months following the closure of the enquiry or the last substantive communication, whichever is later.

Where an enquiry results in a contractual or ongoing business relationship, the relevant personal data may be retained for a longer period in accordance with applicable contractual, accounting, tax, record-keeping and other legal obligations.

Personal data may also be retained for a longer period where this is reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims, resolve a dispute, investigate misuse or comply with a request from a competent authority.

Technical and security-related records are retained only for the period reasonably necessary to protect the website, investigate potentially abusive activity and maintain the security and integrity of the relevant systems.

When personal data is no longer required for any of these purposes, it is deleted, securely disposed of or anonymised so that it can no longer be associated with an identifiable individual.

8. Data Security and International Transfers

Presidence Property applies appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect personal data against accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, unauthorised disclosure, access or other unlawful processing.

These measures include, where appropriate, access restrictions, secure account and password management, encrypted website connections, controlled administrative access, regular software maintenance and protection against spam, automated submissions and other forms of misuse.

Access to personal data is limited to persons and service providers who require it for legitimate business, technical, administrative or legal purposes and who are subject to appropriate confidentiality and data protection obligations.

Although Presidence Property takes reasonable measures to protect personal data, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure.

The use of Cloudflare Turnstile may involve the processing of limited technical and security-related information in countries outside the European Economic Area.

Where personal data is transferred outside the European Economic Area, the transfer must be based on an appropriate safeguard recognised under applicable data protection law. Such safeguards may include an adequacy decision adopted by the European Commission, Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission or another legally recognised transfer mechanism, together with supplementary safeguards where appropriate.

Further information about the safeguards applied by Cloudflare is available in the Cloudflare Data Processing Addendum .
